Exactly what for are these laptops?
Just curious after seeing the specifications.
I don’t really understand what Kerala Legislative Assembly is planning with this plan, is there any link or related documents?
@jinesh “What for” is anyway a different question. Anyway there is a purchase plan. And it is for MLAs .
I dont see a Problem in Mentioning it specifically as Ubuntu 9.04. It is just fixing their Requirements Clearly with Version. It is the Freedom Of Choice of Buyer , ie is Kerala Legislative Assembly in this case.
@anivar
Why i wrote so is, it is good to endorse govt. spending money on GNU/Linux laptops, but i am not interested in endorsing a wasteful spending(i am not saying its waste, i just want to know why they are spending this money).cheers
Ahaa,thats great news!Viva libre software!!
